The Africa Is Digital summit is scheduled to take place from 1-3 February 2024 in the breathtaking Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. This iconic location serves as the perfect setting for a summit that seeks to bridge the gap between technology, education, arts & culture, and social development. The program intends to present a balanced speaker lineup, with keynotes from highly established thought leaders and experts, as well as panel discussions, presentations and showcases from some of the brightest young minds emerging on the continent and globally. The audience will constitute 60% young people (18-40 years old) and 40% academia, corporates & policy makers.
We believe there are 4 key socioeconomic themes that drive any country’s sustainable growth and development; education, emerging technologies, arts & culture and social development (civic society). The challenge is that these 4 sectors do not always see the relationship potential between themselves. One of the main goals of the Africa Is Digital Summit is to help build bridges and identify potential synergies between stakeholders in these 4 thematic areas.
An interconnected society has greater opportunity for disruptive innovation, especially on a continent like Africa which has a young population and is rich in resources. By facilitating dialogue and knowledge transfer between native and international players in these critical sectors, we will be able to drive tangible progress towards a more sustainable and innovative Africa.
